Simple reminders by text. No app required for the person receiving reminders.
About

Care Messaging is a Care Analytics product focused on simpler day-to-day care communication.

The product is being designed around a straightforward idea: the person receiving a reminder should not have to learn a complicated new app for the caregiver to get useful status and follow-up information.

Why text-first?

Many digital health tools assume every user wants another login, another app and another notification system. Care Messaging starts with a channel many older adults already know: SMS.

The caregiver gets the richer experience—scheduling, multiple recipients, status, history and escalation rules—while the recipient gets a short message and a simple way to reply.

Built by Care Analytics

Care Messaging extends the Care Analytics focus on practical communication and technology for care settings into a dedicated reminder and caregiver coordination product.

Product principles

The product should stay simple even as the platform grows.

1

Recipient simplicity

If a normal text message can do the job, the recipient should not be forced into a more complicated interface.

2

Caregiver clarity

Show what was confirmed, what was snoozed and what still needs attention in plain language.

3

Privacy-conscious defaults

Do not put more health information into an SMS message than the workflow actually needs.

4

Flexible workflows

Families and professional care teams need different levels of scheduling, permissions and escalation.

5

Human escalation

Automation should surface situations for people to follow up on—not pretend to replace human care.

6

Measured growth

Build the core reminder loop first, then add integrations and advanced automation when they solve validated problems.
